Rules for Math Problem of the Week:
All answers should be handwritten and turned in directly to Mr. Whittaker.
Questions will be updated each weekend (Friday or Monday). They will also be posted on the internet at ics-whittaker.blogspot.com.
Answers must include reasoning and work that brings you to your result. They must also include your grade and the date.
Students giving correct answers will receive points:
5 for first to solve
3 for second to solve
1 for all others who solve
There is no expiration on any of the questions.
At the end of the semester there will be a prize for the top scorer in each class.

Rubber Ball
A rubber ball is dropped from the top of a 179 foot building. On each bounce it returns to one-tenth its previous height.
